Eligible criteria:
Age details: Candidates should be born linking 2nd July 1995 to 1st July 1998.
Educational Qualification:
Candidates should have made Intermediate (10+2) including Mathematics & Physics subjects from a Recognized board.
Concentration Fee: All-purpose & OBC Applicants call for to pay fee Rs.100/- and SC/ ST/PH Applicants are exempted from paying fee.
Selection Process: Eligible candidates will be elected on the basis of on paper Examination, Intelligence Ordeal, SSB Interview & Psychological Aptitude Ordeal.
Pay Scale: Elected candidates can get Rs.5200/- Pay Scale per month.

 Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has invited online application for selection of candidates for appointment as Special Class Apprentices in Mechanical Department of Indian Railways through Special Class Railway Apprentices’ Examination, 2014 (SCRA), which will be held by the UPSC on 12th January 2014 in accordance with the Rules published by the Ministry of Railway Board in the Gazette of India Dated 5th October, 2013. Eligibility Criteria
Qualification: a. Candidates must have passed in the first or second division, the Intermediate or an equivalent Examination of a University or Board with Mathematics and at least one of the subjects Physics and Chemistry as subjects of the examination. Graduates with Mathematics and at least one of the subjects Physics and Chemistry as their degree subjects of the examination.
b. Must have passed in the first or second division, the Higher Secondary (12th) Examination under 10+2 pattern of School Education with Mathematics and at least one of the subjects Physics and Chemistry as subjects of the examination. see more in notification.
Age Limit: Minimum 17 years and below 21 years as on 01.01.2014. Age relaxations will applicable as per rule.
