Eligibility Criteria:
Age Limit: Candidates age should be between 20 to 25 years for SI post and 18 to 24 years for HC post and 17 to 21 years for Constable GD and 18 to 28 years for Constable post.
Educational Qualification:   Candidates should pass VIII/ High school (12th Class) /Graduation form recognized university or board.
Application Fee: Candidates are required to pay Rs.15/- for SI Post and Rs.10/- for remaining posts.
Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of Documents verification, Physical standard Test, Physical Efficiency Test, Written Exam and Medical Exam.

 Biju Patnaik State Police Academy (BPSPA), Orissa has invited applications invited from willing Gurkha male candidates settled in India/ Nepal for filling up of 328 vacancies in the rank of Gurkha Sepoys in Odisha Special Armed Police, OSAP 2nd Battalion, Jharsuguda, Odisha. Pay scale: Rs.5,200- 20,200/- and Grade Pay of Rs. 2,000/- with other allowance as admissible time to time.
Eligibility Criteria

1. A Candidate must be a bonafide Gurkha and an inhabitant of Nepal or India. The Gurkha Candidate residing in India must have registered his name in any of the Employment Exchanges of the concerned State before the date of advertisement for recruitment. Gurkhas of Nepal must be in possession of valid Citizenship of Nepal. Women candidates are not eligible for recruitment.
2. Qualification: A candidate must have passed Class-VII or equivalent examination from any recognized institution. However, the candidates who have passed H.S.C. or equivalent examination will be given preference.

PHYSICAL STANDARDS:
The candidates must be of sound health and free from organic defects and physical deformity. The minimum physical standard is as follows:
i) Height -158 Cms
ii) Weight 50 Kgs.
iii) Chest 79 Cm (Un-expanded) 84 Cms (Expanded)
PHYSICAL TEST :
i) Run-1.6 Kms (within 6 minutes),
ii) Cross Country-5 Kms (within 40 minutes),
iii) Broad Jump- 3.66 Mtrs. in 3 chances, iv) High Jump- 1.22 Mtrs. in 3 chances
