AGE LIMIT :Candidates age must be as given below for various category of candidates as on 30 SEPTEMBER 2013

• General : 18 to 38 years
• SC/BC : 18 to 43 years
• Widows, Divorcees and certain other categories of women : 18 to 42 years
• Applicants who are already in Government Service : 18 to 45 years
• Physically Handicapped : 18 to 48 years

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS : Candidates who posses degree graduation in subject and must have studied punjabi language up to matric standard are eligible to apply .

Department of Food, Civil Equipment and Consumer Affairs, Punjab issued Recruitment Notification 2013 regarding Recruitment of Inspectors. Online applications are invited from eligible candidates for the direct recruitment of461 INSPECTORS (Group B) ( in the Pay Band Rs. 10300 – Rs. 34800 including Grade pay of Rs. 4200 and Early Pay of Rs. 16290) in the Department of Food, Civil Equipment and Consumer Affairs, Punjab:

Job Post: Food Inspectors ( Group B )

Whole Post: 461 Post

Pay Scale: Pay Band Rs. 10300 – Rs. 34800 including Grade pay of Rs. 4200 and Early Pay of Rs. 16290
Qualification: The Candidate should be a graduate from a recognized Academe or an Institution or its
corresponding and  The candidate should have voted for Punjabi Language subject upto Matric ordinary. But in justification of Ex-servicemen, riot victims/ terrorist victims or their dependents, the nature, if elected, will have to pass Punjabi examination of Matriculation ordinary within six months from the date of unification the service, if not having the requisite qualification already.

Age: 18-38 Time, Repose as per norms.

Concentration Fee: Rs. 200 for SC / BC, All additional including All-purpose: Rs. 800/-The requisite fee should be deposited in any branch of State Layer of Patiala in favour of Department of Food, Civil Equipment and Consumer Affairs, Punjab as per procedure clarified. 

Examination Centre: will be at Chandigarh and tricity area (Mohali, Chandigarh and Panchkula) single.
